Pastor Amos Muhagachi lives in Dodoma Tanzania and is a key member in the Mennonite Church in the city. He and his wife Esther minister with their dynamic church community in outreach to those living with HIV. We also have a sponsorship program in partnership with the church. Pastor Amos opens up on his motivations, his dreams, and his personal history in this interview.

Tim Bata lives in Kampala, Uganda, and has been a friend of Lahash for several years. He assisted with the Amazing Grace Music CD recorded in 2005. He and a fellow musician created a group called the Trans-Nile Ensemble. This group uses very traditional instruments, with messages to their youth. The song Kalega is a song about the devastation of AIDS.

Dr. Donald Oronje lives in the Munyaka slums in Eldoret, Kenya. He has been a partner in the Silas Christian Foundation which works to prevent and treat HIV/AIDS in the region. In January of 2007, he was interviewed by Doug Holcomb of Lahash.

The Amazing Grace Children’s Choir recorded an album in the summer of 2005. This is one of the songs off of the album - called “War is a Disaster”. It deals with the devastation from War and HIV/AIDS, and the human victims from these disasters.
